LOVED this episode. Thank you, Amie, for sharing your story – I resonated with a lot of your feelings. And again thank you, Heather, for this fantastic and helpful podcast!
Well thank you so much Jennifer! I thought Amie did a fantastic job and am so grateful to her for coming on the podcast giving us this window into her experience and powerful transition. I’m thrilled you are enjoying the podcast. I’m incredibly blessed to have such wonderful guests and clients.
I also loved this episode, Amie was saying a lot of the things I say, think, and feel about myself and my medical career too. It is so reassuring to hear similar stories. Thank you for providing the platform for it. It has been really helpful for me as I navigate this unhappy, jarring place I find myself in after so so much hard work and investment.
Hi Orla, I’m so glad Amie’s episode and the podcast have been helpful for you! I am very grateful to my clients and other guests who come on the podcast and share candidly their own experiences so others can see they are not alone and there is nothing wrong with how they’re feeling. Medicine can be a tough place and I don’t want anyone to feel trapped or stuck in an unhappy situation. There are always options. Thanks so much for taking the time to listen and comment!
Thank you Amie and Heather. Your words resonated with me as well! I too am a FP doc currently in a coaching program with Wellcoaches. In fact, I was listening to the podcast on a bike ride and I kept laughing out loud when I predicted the end of some of your sentences regarding your treatment at your prior work. Too funny. I was relieved to hear you could leverage your MD and actually make a living in coaching. Good to know about the variety of coaching jobs available!
Hey Carol! I like the image of you riding your bike and listening to the podcast. I was just doing that the other day too! We have another podcast coming up in about a month that will have more information on coaching! I’m excited about your coach training and interest in this area. Wellcoaches is a very established program and should give you great training. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. Glad to hear the podcast was helpful. Amie did a great job.
