You are most welcome Lucy! It’s a topic that is hard to get clear answers about and I was very happy to have Dr. Steele’s expertise.
Thank you, this is incredibly helpful when at the crossroads!,

Wonderful Richard! I’m glad you enjoyed the podcast. Dr. Steele is a great guy and an expert on re-entry. Wishing you all the best!
Thank you for your fine podcast, your guest delivered expert as well as current information regarding physician re-entry to clinical practice. After a week of searching through internet sources to address retired physicians re-entry issues, I found the 4 or 5 programs websites with decent outlines of their processes, but only minimal description of who, why, how, when of their physician clients. Confidentiality issues and multiple variables of each MD are two probable factors for relying on an initial contact. The few other references for physician re-entry were mostly between the years 2008-2012. Your podcast stands out: its focus on concrete information regarding current program requirements, importance of consulting state boards, and examples of physicians and their courses through re-training and re-entry. The interview was high quality-balanced and graceful exchange for ease of understanding.
