Hi – thanks so much for this information.
Just want to clarify: there is a legal difference between a toxic workplace and a hostile one. “Toxic” is a popular cultural term with no legal definition. “Hostile” means a workplace where antidiscrimination and employment laws are being violated. Being in a toxic workplace is draining and demoralizing on a personal level but not legally actionable. Being in a hostile workplace actually triggers legal protections and may be actionable.
