The improvements in my life, which are the direct result of Dr. Heather Fork’s coaching have been nothing short of amazing! Every subject we have worked on has been unbelievably successful. She really helped me set goals and stay focused and have a winning attitude. When I took a little break a few months back I had a crisis come up. I was on the phone with Heather and was soon “back in the game”. The crisis passed and I was able to make good decisions with her help. My family relationships, health, work environment and living situation have all improved since we started this process together. Thank you, Dr. Fork, for new life, new interests and new energy to enjoy it all!

  • “My work with you is life changing. I am very grateful to have crossed paths with you and am a different person because of it. I have learned much from you and through you. You have been very professional but you have also shown the compassion usually shared between friends. You have inspired me “to believe” in spite of my inner skeptic. I have a lot of respect for you and consider you one of the great mentors I have been privileged to have. You are doing a great job and the value of your services is tremendous!”

  • “The ability that I have acquired to be able to stand up for myself in a toxic work environment, to be more sure of myself, to listen to my gut, to feel good about my abilities as a physician, and to not feel inadequate – are all because you have helped me to grow and to tap into my ‘true self.’ Thank you for bringing me to the point that I am today. I am forever grateful.”

    - M.M., Physician

  • Heather, I realized this morning, I had not written in my grateful diary and thought that I may write to you directly. It has been such an amazing journey and I realize there is more to come and I am in awe to the magnificence that I will eventually reach. It all started with your guidance and assistance and attitude to help lead me to a path that I may never have believed to be true as I was told by society and the people I loved dearest. I am happier now than I have been in my working life and I have an amazing vision that I want to see through. Thank you for everything and thank you for being my biggest fan, even when I doubted myself continuously.

  • If it weren’t for Dr. Heather Fork, I would still be the frustrated physician I became over the years …of what I viewed to be diminishing fulfillment in the practice of medicine… and a cup half empty. I was introduced to Heather through a fellow physician, and so began my journey back to feeling inspired about my career and purpose in life. Heather’s calm, compassionate presence was a welcome invitation. I felt authentically heard for the 1st time in years. Starving for any improvement in my life at work, Heather fed me on a wave of discovery through thoughtful questions and mind-opening personality testing. This allowed me to re-connect with my inner self. The result was that my past and present began to integrate into an exciting future where my talents and experiences are combined, allowing me to offer help for people in ways that have since energized my existence into a cup near-full. I was so impressed with what Heather had to offer that I decided to embark on the very same training she went through to become a co-active coach. Her passionate support gave me the courage to move forward, and I remain forever grateful for her contribution to my feeling fulfilled on a daily basis! Thanks Heather!!

  • Dear Heather,

Thank you so much for our meeting yesterday.  I came away from our discussion feeling as if I had been given “permission” to be and accept my true self.  I felt a little blue at first, realizing how much of my persona and path has been dictated by the “shoulds”.  But taking the first steps in accepting my true wants and interests is starting to feel freeing and energizing.

You had mentioned tele-psychiatry, and my first reaction was the same as it has always been–no way.  When I examined my aversion further, I realized it is based entirely on the “shoulds” and image and being a “real” doctor.  But the more I consider it, the more it makes sense for me. No commute?  Check!   No overhead?  Check check!    Less face-to-face with people?  Now you’re talking!  I think most of patients would be receptive.

I can see myself moving in a direction to gradually transition my practice to my home, still incorporating and expanding a medical writing venture as well.  I have much to consider, but have a renewed vigor for life and for my future. Thank you!  I am still looking forward to our upcoming meetings and intend to look at your scheduler ASAP.
